why “eirene”?

Why “Eirene”?

Eirene began with a simple idea: young people deserve spaces where they can express themselves without having to wait until they're older, more experienced, or more established.

As a young creator myself, I know how easy it is to have ideas that never leave your notes app — a story you never finish, an artwork you never share, or a thought you aren't sure anyone would want to hear.

I created Eirene to change that.

Eirene is still at the beginning of its journey, but the vision is much bigger than one magazine.

I hope it grows into a space shaped by the people who contribute to it — a place where young writers, artists, photographers, filmmakers, and creators can find their voice, experiment with their ideas, and be taken seriously.

Eirene exists because our age should never determine the value of our voice.
